Information for
Debtors:
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy allows
you to obtain relief from your creditors while providing a
fair means to pay them back as much as you can. It allows
you to keep most or all of your property during the time you
are paying creditors back and it permits you to modify some
contract payments, interest rates and length of obligations.
Creditors are not allowed to contact, harass or annoy you in
any way.

Payments:
Payroll deduction orders are
now being put in place in all Chapter 13 cases unless it is
not possible for some reason (i.e. the debtor is unemployed or
only receiving Social Security income) or the debtor advises
the
Trustee's office that he or she does not want a payroll
deduction order.
If you are not using payroll
deduction, please send a money order or certified bank check
(no cash or personal checks are accepted!) to:
